Why we're building Kobe
We believe that your career deserves more options.
Jobs are changing faster. Companies are hire less. Competition is increasing. Relying on one role, one company, or one manager has never felt more limiting.
We believe the best way to create more freedom and security in your career is to build something beyond your job.
The problem is: doing that next to a full-time job is incredibly hard.
We know because all three of us tried.

Nils sold growth and social media workshops. Tobi built websites and did frontend work. René built a development and product studio.
We all had skills people were willing to pay for. What we didn't have was a simple way to understand which experience was most valuable, turn it into a clear offer, and consistently build something around it while working full-time.
That's the product we wish we had.
Kobe analyzes the work you've already done, finds what you do best, and helps you turn it into something people will pay for.

CEO & Co-founder
Nils co-founded Explo, a travel app that scaled to 150k users before being acquired. He later led NeoTaste’s London launch and built its growth team across multiple markets. Along the way, he started selling growth and social media workshops on the side. That experience became one of the starting points for Kobe: turning what you already know into something others will pay for.

CPO & Co-founder
Tobi co-founded Explo alongside Nils and led product after the acquisition. He later worked in AI product and built websites and frontend projects alongside his full-time work. Now he leads Kobe’s product and design, focused on making it radically easier to turn your existing experience into new career options.

CTO & Co-founder
René worked as a freelance engineer, helped build open-source infrastructure at Terramate, and later started his own development and product studio. He knows first-hand how difficult it is to build independent income alongside a demanding job. Today he leads Kobe’s engineering and infrastructure.
“Your career deserves more options. Start building them now.”
